A community credit union with four locations was struggling to attract a younger audience and generate brand awareness in their community. The credit union only advertised through direct mailers, which did not generate enough awareness. With the opening of a new location, they reached out to us for help in attracting new members, upping website visits, and adding on new services.
With the credit union only being able to work in specific areas, we recommended a targeted campaign. Our strategy involved targeted digital display ads (to increase awareness), Facebook Ads, and targeted emails. Re-messaging was added to the targeted digital display and email campaigns.
Within the first month, the credit union had 20 new members sign up (exceeding their goal of 15). They also saw a dramatic increase with new website visitors – a 29% increase in traffic compared to the previous year.
